Returns Policy

At Wedding Superstore®, we appreciate your business and aim to provide you with peace of mind when shopping with us. We proudly go above and beyond the statutory consumer guarantee by offering a 60-day returns period for most of our products.

Returns – Easy as 1, 2, 3!

1️⃣ Contact us via email with your order number and the items you wish to return, along with the reason.
2️⃣ Complete the return form we send to you and place it inside your return parcel.
3️⃣ Send the parcel back to us within 60 days from the date of delivery.

Return Postage & Refunds

  • Change of Mind Returns: Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. We do not offer return labels for change-of-mind returns.
  • Faulty or Incorrect Items: If you have received a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping cost. Please contact us so we can assist you.
  • Final Decision on Returns: Wedding Superstore reserves the right to determine whether a return qualifies as a change of mind or a product issue. If the product matches the description, images, and specifications provided on our website but is not what the customer expected, it will be considered a change-of-mind return and subject to our standard return postage policy.
  • Colour Variance Disclaimer: The colours displayed in our images may not always be 100% accurate due to camera settings, lighting conditions, and differences in device and website display settings. As a result, there may be variations in colour between the product received and what appears on your screen.
  • Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process your refund within 5 business days.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must:
✅ Be unused, in its original packaging, and undamaged.
✅ Be returned in appropriate packaging (e.g., if received in a box, it must be returned in a box).
❌ Items returned without original packaging or with damage will not be refunded and will be sent back to you at your expense.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

We are unable to accept returns/refunds on the following:
Clearance items, factory seconds, or items marked as sale items.
Veils and jewellery (due to hygiene reasons).
Fragile items (e.g., vases, glassware, ceramics, mirrors, metal vases, wax candles, LED lights, charger plates).
❌ Backdrop curtains, aisle runners, and large fabric items that have been folded for postage.
Special order items (items we do not usually stock, custom bulk orders).
Personalized or digitally delivered products.

For Change of Mind Returns

  1. Contact us for a return form before sending any items back.
  2. Package your items securely in a box if they were originally received in a box. Items must be in original, undamaged product packaging. Fabric and table linen items must remain unopened and unused.
  3. Send your parcel via the post office or a courier of your choice. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  4. Refund Processing: Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 7 business days, minus a 10% administration/restocking fee. The refund will appear in your account within 2-7 business days after processing. We do not offer exchanges.
  5. Late Returns: Returns received after 60 days from the delivery date will be returned to the sender at their own expense or may be issued a store credit at the discretion of the Wedding Superstore team.
  6. Opened or Damaged Returns: If you return items that are opened or not in their original condition, we will return them to you at your own expense.

Final Decision on Returns

Wedding Superstore reserves the right to determine whether a return qualifies as a change of mind or a product issue. If the product matches the description, images, and specifications provided on our website but is not what the customer expected, it will be classified as a change-of-mind return and follow the standard return process.

For Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Items

  1. Notification Requirement: If there is an issue with your order, you must notify us within 72 hours of delivery.
  2. Photo Evidence: We may require photographs of the item(s) to assess the issue and begin the claims process.
  3. Refund Processing: Once resolved, we will refund you for the cost of the affected item(s) and any applicable postage charges.
  4. No Replacements or Postage Credits: We do not resend replacement items or offer postage credits toward reordering.
  5. Return Labels: If we issue a reply-paid return label, we will not refund any return postage charges you may have paid separately.

 

Returns Due to Non-Delivery or Late Delivery

  1. Return Postage Charges Apply: If a parcel is returned due to non-delivery or late collection, return postage charges and a restocking fee will apply.
  2. Postage Fees Are Non-Refundable: The original postage charges paid for your order are not refundable. If you would like your order reposted, you will need to pay both the original postage fee and the return postage costs.
  3. Common Non-Delivery Reasons: Returns in this category may include:
    • Incorrect address provided at checkout.
    • Delivery delays resulting in non-collection.
    • Parcel refusal by the recipient.
    • Parcels left in a letterbox or held at the post office and not collected.
  4. Carrier-Specific Return Fees: Australia Post, TNT, and Aramex charge return fees. These may be a flat rate or the full postage cost, which can be higher than what was originally charged, as carriers apply rack rates instead of our discounted rates.
  5. Restocking/Admin Fees: These fees cover processing your return and any charges incurred from the payment facility used at checkout.

Manufacturing Tolerances

All our products are man-made, and as a result, all displayed measurements are approximate. A 5% manufacturing tolerance applies to all listed sizes.


Colours and Dye Batches

We strive to provide accurate colour representations in our product photos. However, due to various factors, there may be colour variances between the product image and the actual item along with differences between orders if you are not ordering all of the items at the same time. These factors include:

  • Different dye batches from the same manufacturers/product.
  • Variations in factory dye batches across different products.
  • Differences in screen resolutions, camera settings, and lighting conditions.

We recommend purchasing the entire quantity of a specific coloured item in one order, as future purchases may come from a different dye batch and could have slight colour variations.


Photographic Representation of Products

We make every effort to ensure our product descriptions and images are as accurate as possible. However:

  • We do not guarantee that product descriptions are completely error-free. If we discover an error, we reserve the right to correct it.
  • Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only.
  • We do not guarantee that any image will reproduce the exact colour or reflect the full design/options of a product.
